but first of all, a pic of zichao and me with ms wong, back in hc on cny eve. it's quite interesting to go back year after year, to see how things have changed, how the people have changed. but the familiar setting makes me feel like it's not too long since we were last there taking part in the celebrations too. just think about it...the huge centrepiece (which i unfortunately don't have a photo of!)...the banners painted by all the J1 classes, hanging from the railings of all floors, on both wings surrounding the central plaza...the performances (lion dance, chinese dance, chinese orchestra, wushu etc)...the mass invasion of the staff room to chat up teachers and check out all their cute kids...the bazaar where J1s sell homemade stuff...the school dances to close the celebrations.....ah, the overwhelming nostalgia of it all!
then we move on to εδΈ, where we had our mega ε’ζ haha. first time we've gone round to so many houses! i remember in J2 we went to zejia's place, and J3 to ruyan's. what happened in J4? i think there wasn't one, but i can't for the life of me figure out why. so anyway this year, we started off at my house in the morning at 10+, then moved to zichao's at 1+, and finally to wanlin's at 4+.
at my house we mostly sat around the dining table, talked, played slapjack (haha fun right? (: teach the rest of you next time!), had coffee and tea, and pigged out on all my homemade cookies and cakes. just to tempt the rest of you, we had almond biscuits (remember?), oatmeal raisin cookies, apricot cookies, some flat cookie made with sunflower seeds sliced almonds pumpkin seeds, prune cake, fruitcake, cheesecake and custard kueh! waa....then those of us who were there were too full to eat much for the rest of the day :D

after all the pigging out, we moved on to zichao's place. it's also a housewarming of sorts...none of us have been there before. his (relatively) new place is really nice! and zichao's room is very boyboy...cos most of it is in blue, but very lovely la :D

went to wanlin's house...which was packed! apparently her relatives from both her dad's and mum's sides were there, in addition to neighbours, her brother's friends, and of course, us.
