Beyond is a humanist who believes in freedom and peace. 自由与和平.
the song 光辉岁月was written and dedicated it to Nelson Mandela, the humanist leader of S.Africa. They didnot only sing, but also walked their talk, as they visited and helped out in Africa and set up a charity foundation.

Personally, i inherit this love for Beyond from my father. I think this is because i can identify with the ideals and spirits of this band.

The music of Beyond, which embodies the Beyond spirit of achieving beyond what you think you can achieve, striving for the goals of your heart and never giving in, expressing yourself through creations, seeking freedom, appreciating and understanding the pains and frustrations of people around you, improving the world of music, and helping others in the world, is timeless.

Beyond is here for eternity, because like what my father did, i will let my sons and daughters listen to Beyond and let them discover why they are called Beyond: for this band is simply beyond description
