hi pple!
havent blogged for a really long while since the blog is deadly quiet, i shall contribute by saying something...n the most interesting event that happened in my life recently is talentime, so here goes..
Well..must say that im impressed by some of the talents we haf in hc, people who actually sound good n pro.. n i was pleasantly surprised that there were a variety of songs chosen. There was this girl who actually picked an opera sounding italian piece, n i thot her voice was quite good, juz that she wasnt really able to connect with the audience. n many pple were talking and giggling when she was singing, which i felt was rather rude (and a display of the lack of proper etiquette ): )
Talking about etiquette makes me fume..there was this irritating group of pple (adults, in fact) who took their own sweet time to pick their seats, hogging seats in two different rows such that they effectivel took up double the number of seats they could n deprived the five of us who went tog of the chance to sit together..started to quarrel with them, but decided not to continue since it's not too nice to make a scene in the audi n it would be useless to continue (esp when their voices are of a frequency and amplitude several times higher than mine..)
Besides that, the night was highly enjoyable.. n surprise of all surprises, CO got first for the open category!! Though i muz admit i was pretty shocked, but i still felt happy for them.. :) Heard many pple commenting after that that CO shldnt have gotten first, but wad i feel is that the other groups werent that fantastic either and the standard of CO's performance was really not too bad..sounds like im trying to defend my CCA mates? wadeva it is, they got first anyway and it's a fact that no one can change no matter wad they say...lala... :P
