hmm...i do agree with huimin totally. I chatted with zichao, he agree aso. But we feel that it is quite inevitable as we now progress to J2...in fact, this "phenomenon" starts last year...around promo then...

i think compared to the past carefree days, we are more and more burdened and stressed...CCA, academics, S paper, academic competition, other personal commitments...none of us have time for class, not that we are selfish and do not want to. I think everyone would love to be involved in all sorts of class activities, but many a times we have other more urgent and important things in mind that we put class lower in the hierachy of commitments. And worse is, now is 5 day week, everything is crammed into weekdays, and with S paper this year, our days all end v v late...for about one month b4 the concert i went back only after 7 every school day...so very naturally we wld not have the energy and zest tt we used to have to play bball, to stay over, to do crazy stuff...now even lessons are more dead...people ponning lessons like free...stoning thru tutorials, only a few pple paying attention...break then go library or student lounge to rest...we didnt even have energy to celebrate birthdays for birthday babies...sorry all the babies...we dun even have to time to eat together at break...no energy to play bball even during PE lesson..

class is more and more segregated into cliques...and the unbridgable gender gap...and it is super difficult to organise an outing coz people are perpetually busy and tired and no time and energy for class outing, and also coz different pple have different interests and needs and demands...some want movies, some iceskating, some DOTA...and the most important thing is we need ideas and support and organiser...but everyone is sian and tired, no one is willing to organise something...and yes, i m v tired...v tired... i need time for myself, my own frenz, my brothers, my band...i cant really find time for the class...so i think i am a bad CT rep...i apologise for this plummeting of class spirit and energy..

or maybe the saying "passion can never be sustained long" is true...the class perhaps has lost its appeal for some of us...we dun have tt excitement when we tok abt class outing...to some of us, class is merely a functional unit of school, a tutorial group rather...



but well..

when passion dies out, our love for this very special class, 04S7A, has never ceased to exist in our heart...though we may not be as enthusiastic as we used to be, deep down we all love this class, we feel attached to the class...

remember those wonderful times...those memories that etched in our hearts...our orientation, CNY stall, ziwei farewell, playing watergun on yuling bdae, staying over at ruyan hse...yw hse...and we always like to sit in a circle and tok serious stuff, such as wat do u think of everyone in the class, etc...remember that wonderful evening b4 O lvl result release? remember how we all lie down and gaze the star (or trying to gaze)...remember house system? buddy system? the excitement of sitting with a new partner every week? baking cookies and selling? our successful HCHC stalls Shoot and Shine? niaoing HM together? class chalet? the failed attempt to catch a glimpse of the first ray of sunlight in the day? the most successful class outing ever at JEC? our body language dance? the XHM dance for the guys? gnoy and teck pole-dancing :p? stripping eugene zichao and yuanwei? going to choir concert together and take lotsa photos outside? uniform exchange, all NY and CHS day?our fac outing in which a handsome guy in the class was the class prince and a beautiful ger the princess? MAF..when we had a great time bonding together...haha...all the nice birthday cards? the paper tt we pass ard to write our comments on each other ( i still keep it)? passing paper ard and funny comments on it? teck explaining physics, esther squeaking, meihui stifling her laughter, kokyong mugging, yuanwei trying to slack, hongming shaking with music, timo being cheerful and fun-loving, zhangrui being loser! YES coming late to classes, berne tok cocking, zichao getting bullied by gers, kokchong showing his artistic prowess, YEW being fun-loving, ZAI trying to be zai (j/k..),meisheng and priya being the only ones paying attention in classes, yanneng infectious smile, yueyen and boonshan composure and steadiness, sheryl sleeping in class, eugene arguing with teachers, huimin shuangshuang abt bball...and of cuz, last but not least, DR Lew's shuai and cool :) (juz kidding...dun vomit)

yes. most of these are from last year.

but even in this year, we are not that bad. We have great pple like kokyong to volunteer during tutorials, interesting GP lessons..we have a great bunch of juniors and we successfully pass down all our traditions...and we pass on our 7A spirit as well...we have a great time during campfire...hug together and sing and spin...saboing people in the circle..great JTS and STJ...and most recent..a class outing (though not many came)...



























i leave the space above for us to continue the spirit, for us to write our legacy and our memories for the rest of the year...


this year is definitely gonna be busy and tough, but always keep in mind tt class is a place that you can fall to. it is ok if u guys dun come for outings, but do not ever lose that love for this class that bring all of us together...
